Elemental Tarot is a 6-day tarot retreat that I’ll be hosting in Italy, June 7th - 12th, 2026.

Nestled in the Tuscan hills at Maraviglia, a conscious living center, we’ll explore the birthplace of modern tarot and learn about the power of the cards to help shape and navigate our lives.

Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or just beginning your journey, together we’ll discover the four elements of tarot—earth, water, fire, air—and learn how to interpret the cards and our personal stories in conversation with the natural world.

In Your Element

In the land of the esoteric, ideas and dreams are nurtured to fruition by working with the rhythms of nature.

This elemental work moves in six month cycles. Marked by the solstices and equinoxes, elemental opposites balance each other on either side of the seasonal scales, reflecting our innate ability to transmute and transform.

Right now we’re in the midst of a potent elemental transition.

Our card of the year is shifting. The earth-bound Hermit, who taught us to strip away everything and connect to the roots and bones of our lives, is handing off their trusty staff to be remade as the spokes of the Wheel of Fortune. 2026 will be a year brought to life by fire, action, and inevitable turns of fate.

We sit in the balance of the solstice. For those in the northern hemisphere, the winter solstice is a time of collecting water. In Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), water is the deepest expression of Yin energy: darkness, cold, receptivity, and contemplation.

For those in the southern hemisphere, the summer solstice is a time to open to this year’s fiery bounty. In TCM, fire is the highest expression of Yang energy: heat, connection, joy, and play.

Exactly six months from today, the intentions we set free in this moment will be coming home to roost. The element you’re bathing in will have transformed into its opposite.
